Hello,

I'm trying to set up Redmine at work for evaluation, and I chose to use a Bitnami Ubuntu virtual machine, using VirtualBox.

I've installed the following redmine plugins:

  • Redmine backlogs
  • Importer
  • DMSF

When I click on a link in Redmine, I randomly get an error 101 (ERR CONNECTION RESET), then Redmine completely locks up, sending error 404 messages whenever I try to load any Redmine page. It starts working again after a while, only to break again some time later.

The Apache server itself is fine (as the default bitnami home page displays without problems), and nothing gets logged to apache's access log or error log when the problem occurs.

Note that I'm not using the Repository module at the moment.

The weird thing is that I've got the same virtual machine at home and it works perfectly fine. So I guess there's an issue with the office's network, but I won't be able to get help from IT if I can't tell them what's the exact problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Never mind, I've discovered that an inconsiderate colleague was using a static IP on the DHCP range, and it clashed with my server :)
